Rosella Packaging for the Linen press

Our good friends at the Linen Press have given us another packaging job to do after the success of our last range (The Kangaroo and the Koala range). This time it was time to package and brand the Australian Rosella.

The Australian Rosella is a species of colourful Australian parrots that live in forests, parks and gardens. They eat seeds and fruit and quite a hit with the locals and visitors alike!

As this is another souvenir range, we decided to package the range as a luscious gift parcel – stamps, strings, ribbons and postmarks are used to give the range a ‘lovingly packaged’ flavour, wrapped by a distant relative and sent all the way to your doorstep.

We scanned in some old postcards and lifted little lines and markings from worn paper to give the range a natural feel but kept it light and colourful to keep it fresh. Upon opening the package you will discover a lovely gingham print with some more information on the rosella. We’ve embossed the rosella to give it depth and used lashings of Spot UV Varnish to really bring out the highlights in this packaging.

This range contains wild rosella fruit extract and it smells delicious!! We hope you like!

Avalanche’s brainchild – the MyLife Digibook – Archival quality storage solution available in 6 different colours and styles~

Whenever we think of archiving photos or art, we often request materials that are acid-free and of archival quality, guaranteed to last at least 100 years. But what about those digital files and photos? You know, the ones we just burn onto the first blank CD or DVD that we can find lying around. Sure, you’ve been warned to back-up your files many times, but have you considered the quality of the media you’ve backed up your work on?

Unfortunately, not all CDs and DVDs are the same. Some CDs and DVDs only have a shelf life of 10 years, while others are guaranteed stable for 70 – 100 + years. Big difference, isn’t it? The CD/DVDs that we burn on our own computer don’t last anywhere near as long as commercially made CDs (think your artist’s favourite album) and unfortunately that includes the photos we burnt to disc in an attempt to preserve. Using high-grade archival discs instead can preserve those precious family photos or work files for years to come. They are a lot more expensive than that big 50 pack you got at officeworks for $10, but they are worth it.

Avalanche Creative initiated DigiBooks – the new way to securely store & protect your digital photos. Not only do they contain 5 Archival CDs or DVDs guaranteed for 60 -100 years (depending on which pack you buy), but they are beautifully packaged in an e-book. You could buy an archival CD for $5, or you could get them cheaper in our digibooks! (And they look really good!)

BynormCCLogo 600x370 Bynorm…. it’s a great day to be in the garden!

Bynorm sell a massive range of gardening supplies for both the retail and trade market. This as you can see is the CONTRACTORS CHOICE!

We looked at this project with the end user in mind… they don’t potter around the garden to relax. This is their day job and they need tools to do the job professionally, so we created a ‘Hoon’ style muscle car badge (extra chrome gloss and go faster blue Kevlar mesh behind the text).
